Coach Larry Edgemon will be the freshman head coach as well as the running backs coach. He will also serve as the varsity baseball first assistant. He will be teaching World History. Coach Edgemon will enter his 25th year of coaching. After starting his career in Oklahoma, he moved to Texas and has made stops at schools in Carrollton, Frisco, Princeton, Tom Bean, and is excited to return to Frisco ISD. Coach Edgemon has served as a head baseball coach and an offensive coordinator. As a player, Coach Edgemon competed for three state titles in baseball in Oklahoma finishing as the state runner up in 1988. He was a three sport athlete in high school playing football, baseball, and powerlifting. Coach Edgemon went on to college and played junior college baseball. He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1998 with his bachelors degree in History Education. Coach Edgemon has been married for 26 years to his wife Cindy and they have three children. Taylor, 32, living in Austin with her husband and three year old son. Haley, 25, in Arlington, and Garrett, 22, working as an electrician. When Coach Edgemon is away from work he spends his time fishing, reading historical fiction, visiting family in Oklahoma, working on his classic 1966 Mercury Comet, and watching baseball as much as possible
