Jared Cate

Bio

Coach Cate will serve as the Offensive Coordinator and Coach the Quarterbacks at Panther Creek High School. He comes to PCHS from Lone Star High School, where he served as the Wide Receivers Coach. He was previously the Offensive Coordinator at Boyd High School in Boyd, TX. Coach Cate earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at West Texas A&M University, where he played quarterback. He finished his playing career at Texas A&M University-Commerce while earning his Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Jared’s lovely wife Cori coaches volleyball at Prosper High School, and together they have two boys named Canyon and Crosby. When Coach Cate is not teaching and coaching he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as on the golf course. Jared is excited to join the Panther Creek family, and work with the outstanding student-athletes at PCHS
