Coach Surratt comes to Panther Creek High School from Lone Star High School where he served as Assistant Head Coach / Co-Offensive Coordinator. He previously worked as Head Football Coach at Princeton High School from 2017-2020, capturing a district title in 2017 and being named District Coach of the Year. He also lead the transition from a 4A to 5A while in that role. Before arriving in Princeton, Coach Surratt's first stint at Lone Star was from 2011 to 2017 serving as Assistant Head Coach / Offensive Coordinator helping build that program from a new school to a winner competing in the 2015 state championship game. Coach also served 10 years in Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD. He was Offensive Coordinator at Newman Smith High School helping lead one of the biggest turnarounds in the state while directing one of the best and most exciting offenses in the state. Coach Surratt has over 20 year of experience and has a reputation of a being a builder and relationship-driven coach. Coach Surratt's wife Melissa and kids Ryann and Cody are excited to be a part of the Panther Creek family! Coach Surratt said "I am incredibly honored to be named Athletic Coordinator/Head Football coach at Panther Creek High School.
